Bundaberg Commercial was founded in 2021 but its roots run deep in the Bundaberg community. Peter Bender has been carving a niche in the Bundaberg business space for several decades through his previous ventures including being a business consultant. With the incredible migration we have seen over the past couple of years, there was no better time to go out on his own and form a company that really focuses on commercial and industrial real estate along with business broking.
Our motto is “Good Service Sells”. Big deal? What does that actually mean? Firstly, I answer your calls or call you soon back if I am with someone. Emails are responded to and I come and visit you. Clients are shown your property by myself – I don’t send them to you and expect you to be a tour guide.

One of the most common questions sellers consider is whether to have someone local or someone from down south to market their property. I ask them “If you were looking to buy in Bundaberg, would you call an agent in Bundaberg or Sydney?” Buyers ring local. I love the quote “If you want something done then give it to someone who does it all day, everyday.” Commercial realty is complex, requires specific training and can be very expensive if done incorrectly by someone who dabbles in the space.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience.
Peter has the most recent qualification from the REIQ and Office of Fair Trading to deal with commercial property and businesses. All agents must now ‘go back to school’ to gain this. Many agents are retiring or leaving the industry due to this compliance because they either haven’t had a new qualification in years/decades or have no intention of getting it. There are any number of laws being broken due to ignorance or arrogance of the recent changes. Your investment is generally quite expensive so be sure to chose someone who will protect it and you.
Peter has also started, bought and sold his own businesses since he was in his early twenties. He understands businesses, their financials and operations. He was a local business consultant for almost a decade including being a Qld Government selected business mentor.
